At the Mining Industry Dinner, Puerto Antofagasta was recognized for its role as a strategic partner of Mining Month 2026, an initiative led by the Antofagasta Industrial Association (AIA). The event brought together more than 1,500 public officials, industry leaders, suppliers and representatives of the regional business community.
This longstanding event provided a forum for dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing the mining sector, encouraging engagement among stakeholders across its value chain. The evening also featured the AIA Awards, which recognized companies and leaders for their contributions to the development of the industry and the Antofagasta Region.
As a strategic partner of the AIA, Puerto Antofagasta maintains ongoing engagement with public authorities, mining companies, suppliers and industry associations, contributing a port logistics perspective to discussions on the region’s current and future economic development.
