For EPA, maintaining and improving community engagement processes is one of the strategic objectives. We develop activities aimed at showcasing improvements in operational and environmental standards, and offer our spaces to the community to promote healthy lifestyles, cultural heritage appreciation and support for entrepreneurship.

The City-Port Council
Working hand in hand with community interests, generating a binding relationship between citizens and Antofagasta Port, is one of the main objectives of the regional City-Port Coordination Council.
“City-Port Coordination Councils are established under Law No. 19,542 with the main goal of ensuring harmonious development between ports and the city, particularly protecting the urban environment, access routes and the natural environment.”

COPA
Antofagasta Port Community
A non-profit organisation founded in 2010 to bring together all actors in the maritime port logistics sector to work with the community and bring the world of the sea closer to citizens.
Christmas at your port
EPA holds the traditional Christmas Tree and Nativity Lighting at the Port Square, where the community, social organisations and the port family celebrate this occasion.
Cycling Path
Cycling Promenade
As part of community engagement initiatives, the Cycling Promenade contributes to the quality of life of cyclists and pedestrians, improving safety and encouraging the use of an ecological, efficient and healthy means of transport.
Port visit programme
EPA facility tours are part of the company's Engagement Plan, aimed at maintaining an 'Open Doors' policy with citizens.
Circus at your port
The Circus at your Port programme offers free circus performances to the community.
Cruises
One of Antofagasta Port's lines of action — a tradition that brings together major cruise industry companies. We receive 4 to 8 cruise calls per year and hold seminars to empower each link of the logistics and cruise industry chain in the city.
Sitio Cero activities
Multiple activities await, including circuses, concerts, fairs and other events for the city. Sitio Cero is recognised as the port's recreational area and a meeting point for the city.
