EPA engagement with Government Entities
We are part of the SEP State Enterprise System and our principal is the Chilean State under the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications. Empresa Portuaria Antofagasta is an essential part and coordinator of the Antofagasta Region Logistics PTI driven by CORFO and GORE Antofagasta.
Antofagasta Port maintains important links with ZICOSUR and the Capricorn Axis, the 1904 Peace and Friendship Treaty with Bolivia and the Paraguay agreement on the Paraguayan free zone. Antofagasta Port stands out as part of the port logistics chain for all its berths, as well as the railway lines and its two rail operators, FCAB with connection to Bolivia and Ferronor with connection to Argentina.
